Bonsai-Happiness Tree 幸福树

The biological name of this plant is Radermachera sinica, also called china doll plant, serpent tree or emerald tree, This plant has its very romantic Chinese name : 幸福树 (Happiness Tree).
This is a fast growing evergreen tree in the family Bignoniaceae, with lacy-looking, glossy, green foliage, it is an native to the subtropical mountain regions of southern China and Taiwan.
The china doll plant is a fairly recent house plant, having only been introduced since the early 1980s. It's a fairly compact plant that has became very popular due to how tolerant it is of the warm, low-humidity air of most modern homes. As it is really fast and easy growing, it will grow to a tree size when the pot is big enough. As such, we use a small pot for growing this tree as bonsai style, a lovely gift for any home or office.
